We’re already halfway through summer, and I’ve had this post in my drafts for a while, unable to finish it. So anyway, I looked around on NLYMAN.COM for a little while and found these amazing products I would personally love to wear this summer and… well, kinda am wearing. I have some of these things & very similar items that do the trick. I’ve been working my outfits all summer long, going from preppy monk straps and a blazer, to a red flanell shirt and a leather biker. So yeah, let’s get to it shall we? (By the way, the products are mostly a mix of separate items to wear for summer, not a detailed collage to wear together) But I would like to add that I could totally rock the monk straps with the navy shorts and the heavy printed shirt next to it. Most of us can’t afford to buy high-end fashion, from the likes of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander Wang on a regular day basis, but sometimes we find things that are worth investing in. With that in mind, I created a few collages with links to Ssense.com. Just a little mixture of things I love.
Looking over them now, I see that I’m probably going to end up wearing the colors of dark blues, red, black & white for this spring. And leather, of course. Well hello there, rugrats. Happy new years to you all! Now, let’s get back to business. For my main inspiration, I useLookbook.nu. I have done so for years, for a way to remake my personal style and add touches I would previously have thought ridiculous and now find amazingly fresh, even though I’m probably copying some famed lookbooker. So, here’s my office space! Like I said, it’s yellow, but.. still. I had this old desk, so I painted it a little, and basically fell in love with the thing. I think I just love that it looks so tarnished and half done, which just gives it a unique look. My new Imac is just totally beyond, and I couldn’t love it more. I also have a thing for showcasing the fashion items I love, including Amanda Christensen and Lanvin for H&M bow ties, Ray-Bans, Marc Jacobs for Cola Light bottles, coffee table books and pearl sunnies! I can’t wait to paint this room, it needs a serious makeover.
I might possibly create a walk-in-closet/office space, just so I can decorate it with fashion items and accessories. But then my bedroom would be totally empty! But I feel a rush of inspiration when I can see my silk bombers, studded leather bags, college jackets, envelope clutches, snapbacks, hats, balenciaga book and Chanel/Alexander McQueen scarves around me!
Here is a little preview of my new temporary blogger office, which I refer to as my blogger den! I have always wanted a blogger den, just for the pure inspiration of it. But for right now, the “office” which I kinda hate calling it, is yellow… which would be bad enough, if the room itself had been newly painted, which it is not. Which means; pale and unsatisfying. But I must admit that I do appreciate a challenge, so don’t be too disappointed when you see it, ok? It’s not nearly done, but I couldn’t wait to show you guys!
