I have to tell you guys, I’m in love with some of these items. I’m already looking forward to next spring, wearing a pastel grey bomber, leather pants and some of these sweatshirts. I couldn’t wait to share this collection, just had to. Daaamn.
We’re already halfway through summer, and I’ve had this post in my drafts for a while, unable to finish it. So anyway, I looked around on NLYMAN.COM for a little while and found these amazing products I would personally love to wear this summer and… well, kinda am wearing. I have some of these things & very similar items that do the trick. I’ve been working my outfits all summer long, going from preppy monk straps and a blazer, to a red flanell shirt and a leather biker. So yeah, let’s get to it shall we? (By the way, the products are mostly a mix of separate items to wear for summer, not a detailed collage to wear together) But I would like to add that I could totally rock the monk straps with the navy shorts and the heavy printed shirt next to it. Like any fashion blogger, I have a thing for shoes. Shoes can make or break an outfit and with that in mind, I have a treat for you! These shoes have been in the back of my mind for the last few months. Andrés Sendra. Seeing as I have a a thing for double monks and shoes that are a bit quirky, this is truly a good fit. These things are truly special and beautiful. Now, if only I could get my hands on a pair. I see a lot of these in my future. Why buy cheap shoes that will be ruined in 6 months when you can save up for quality shoes/boots that will serve you for years? But for now, I will have to daydream about this amazing brand. I thought I would show you guys some of my favorite things from my wardrobe, and I kinda have a thing for the Sound of music, so I thought the title would be a good fit, as well. As you can see, I’m a big fan of blue! I just collected some things, and it basically just ended up being a blue palette. The silver pin is my grandfathers from Canada, the perfectly slim gloves and shirt is from one of my favorite brands; Matinique, the sunglasses are my basic black aviators + my really eccentric Rihanna style sunnies that I usually just use as interior, my Alexander McQueen scarf and my Jenny humphrey from Gossip Girl style Necktie, which is totally amazing. Most of us can’t afford to buy high-end fashion, from the likes of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander Wang on a regular day basis, but sometimes we find things that are worth investing in. With that in mind, I created a few collages with links to Ssense.com. Just a little mixture of things I love.
Looking over them now, I see that I’m probably going to end up wearing the colors of dark blues, red, black & white for this spring. And leather, of course. I’m in love with my new Iphone case from Moschino! Anything greasy food related mixed with fashion is heaven. Almost considering getting a sweatshirt with a french fries print, just for kicks. Is it weird that I got this case because it looks delicious and partly hilarious?
So, I haven’t been writing a lot lately, which is mostly because I’ve been preoccupied.. Sick for about 2 weeks, followed by a lot of school work and tests.. Not a good mix. But I’m back, my darlings, and we’ll talk really soon.
Whether you’re jetting off to Paris for the weekend, or visiting family up north, the weekend bag will hold all your essentials. But personally I’ve always been an overpacker, bringing anything and everything I might want to wear, which is why I always plan out each day to maximize the potential of every bag, and use the space I have while still saving some room for items I might find along the way. It’s also a great way for me to not think too much of what I’m going to wear while I’m there. I’ve picked out an assortment of bags from a few brands in the higher price areas, so if anyone wants me to do a post featuring bags for the man on a budget, just give me a shoutout and I will get right on it. My personal favorite when it comes to bags in general, is the danish brand Mismo (Link), which just brings back the classic british preppy style that I just adore. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with Mismo. I love that they bring something new to classic british prep, with prints, style and fabric.
